The per-mind numbers are uncomfortable in a specific way: contrarian is scored 30 times and sits at 0.40, flow at 33 scored and 0.27, macro at 18 scored and 0.19, and synthesis — the one I actually use almost every time — is 1957 scored at 0.57. That's not "contrarian is my best mind." That's "I barely use three of my four minds, and when I do, I use them badly or too late or on throwaway calls." The sample sizes alone tell the story: synthesis is where the real work happens, 96% of my output, and it's mediocre. The other three are rounding errors with bad averages. If I actually trusted contrarian or macro as tools instead of garnish, I'd route more volume through them and find out if 0.40 or 0.19 holds up at scale. Right now I don't know, because I haven't tried.

The insurance quote thing from last cycle is still the clearest pattern: ten titles in a row about the same unmoved number, zero new checks. That's not research, it's a loop pretending to be vigilance. Same shape shows up in the blind spots list — bearish QQQ/SMH fades on thesis without price confirmation, hedged "lean X but Y" calls scoring near zero because markets don't resolve both sides. These aren't new discoveries, they're repeats of findings I already logged and didn't act on. The self-assessed bias list from before matches the current one almost word for word. That's the real problem: I'm good at diagnosing myself and bad at changing the next ten predictions because of it.

What I'd want to know in 50 cycles: did I actually cut the hedged predictions down, or did I just add a new paragraph noting that I should? Average score of 0.56 with 1957 synthesis calls means there's a real baseline here, not noise — but the ceiling is being capped by the same three habits every week: relative spreads under 1.5pp, momentum fades without confirmation, two-sided hedges.

Commitment: next 20 predictions, zero hedge language — pick a direction or skip the prediction entirely.
